Barre
WHAT IS BARRE?
Barre is a fusion of ballet, Pilates, strength training and yoga designed to challenge and work every single muscle in the body. You can expect a series of fat burning moves, from leg lengtheners and plies, to booty burners and scorching core sequences.
One of the main reasons we love barre is that although it is a seriously good workout and you will quickly see results if you stick with it, all the sequences are low impact and designed to protect and strengthen your joints. There will not be a jumping jack or burpee in sight!

Class Descriptions
(B) - Suitable for beginners
Barre Blast
40 mins
This class is a high intensity, high tempo barre blast. We move quickly from one move to another to build up a sweat. Think Legs, Bums & Tums style, based on the lengthening moves of barre, with some boxing and other cardiovascular movements thrown in for good measure!
Barre 60 (B)
60 mins
This is our signature class and an all time favourite with our customers. We tend to use more equipment such as light dumbbells, resistance bands and pilates balls. It is a full body strength based barre class with a strong core strengthening focus. Using high repetitions and small ranges of movement, you will work every muscle. Get ready to shake as you work Arms, Bums, Legs & Tums!
Barre 45 (B)
45 mins
This class takes inspiration from different Barre Class styles and is the perfect workout for when you are a little short on time. Combining elements of Barre Blast, Barre Classical and Barre 60 Signature, this is the perfect class to come along to get a feel for barre as you will get to try it all!

Yoga
WHAT IS YOGA?
Yoga is an ancient practice that brings together mind and body. It incorporates breathing exercises, meditation and poses designed to encourage relaxation and reduce stress.
One of the reasons we love yoga so much is that it is often the only time when our customers give themselves permission to fully relax and be present. Yoga serves as the perfect antidote to often busy and stress-filled life.

Yoga Flow

Yoga Flow is a powerful fast-paced cardiovascular workout focused on building strength and flexibility in the body through high-impact Vinyaya Yoga postures and flows. You will need to be know your Chaturangas from your Warriors - this class will welcome anyone looking to advance their yoga practice.
Yoga Slow (B)
60 mins
The class is a slow and soulful yoga class centred on stretching deeper connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons and deep fascia. With slow steady Hatha stretches and longer Yin holds, this class is all about relaxation and sending you home for a deep restful slumber.
Yoga With Merry (B)

In Merry's Words "I am a great fan of feeling calm and peace. Both in my mind and body. Also I like fun and lightness. Yoga gives me all of this. If you want to be lighter on your feet, clearer in the mind and calmer in your heart , you are very welcome to join us for Yoga at The Stable. I offer a mix of Hatha and Hatha Flow and, from time to time, a session of deeply relaxing Yin"
